Last Month the Japanese try to retrive this mod a little bit more. They played in the at 2pm CET. At the moment the gametracker,com Server Monitorring is off. Hope soon they turn it on. The ranking seems to work.
Music for Disco Building: (optional) DiscoPack.rar (I made this a separate optional download. The WAV files are loaded externally thus they can be easily replaced with custom music without altering the RFA files. )
Pending any surprise bugs, this should be the release. I plan to add race mode at a later date. But for the most part, the rest of the map is done.
Oh and someone needs to test drive challenge mode so we can figure out what it ranks on the cookie scale.
Despite the complexity of the map, I've managed to make it mostly cheat proof. But I suppose someone could find a hole somewhere if they really really looked.

Ok working on fixing a few bugs and should have the delorean fixed tomorrow. I plan to re-upload the whole thing after that. I thought I had everything covered, but there's a lot of sh*t in this map so no surprise some bugs slipped past.
The missing door in challenge mode was the result of missing network code. I forgot to create a network template for the timed doors. Oops.
As for the delorean, I will have to get rid of driving mode and make it a flight only vehicle. Though the wheels will still be functional. If you hold S (reverse key) you can keep it on the ground. Using Nos will propel it forward. It won't be perfect, but it's the best compromise to avoid the network lag the vehicle originally caused.
Hold off on announcing the map until I get v1.1 released. That way not as many people will have to redownload the map.
EDIT:
Great news! I Fixed the crash bug with the minitank. You can aim all the way up or all the way down and it will spawn just fine without crashing. I fixed it by having it spawn 2 meters above the soldier instead of spawning it in front. Despite spawning it high up like that it doesn't have to drop too far and doesn't take damage. In fact the new spawn position should make it much harder to glitch spawn it into buildings which was a concern I originally had for this vehicle.
So now if you aim all the way at the ground or all the way up at the sky, the tank spawns on the ground half a meter or so infront/behind the soldier. Aiming at the horizon now results in the minitank spawning a half meter above the soldier's head. It simply drops down and is ready to drive. It doesn't take damage or damage the soldier while doing so and the springs don't make it bounce so no real disadvantage from spawning it like this.
I'll have the delorean fixed tomorrow. Pending any other bugs you guys find that I forgot about, that should be it.

Alright. Almost forgot I got Christmas related things to do today, so I will be gone most of the afternoon. However I did finish the bug fixes in time. I won't be able to upload the full map until tonight, but until then this patch RFA can be installed for those who still have the original version of the map:

This patch rfa can also be installed on the server. I'll let you know once I have the full map uploaded.
Bugs fixed:
1. Fixed missing Door in Challenge mode. (was result of missing network template) 2. Fixed RC Minitank crash (The laptop kit) 3. Fixed DeLorean lagging when in driver seat. (Took out driving mode and moved flight controls over to driver seat. Passenger seat now operates the main gun and nothing else) 4. Restored the missing ladder for the Disco Building when in Challenge mode. 5. Added Astra car to the c_CGStaticObjects collision group for Challenge mode. You can now drive it through the invisible walls. (this car only spawns at the finish line. ) 6. Fixed wheel materials on traffic cars on the Mario Kart track. They were originally using material 1 (which is water). Could cause issues and I had fixed it in my Mario Kart mod (which I am also working on updating for a final release). I just forgot to include the fix for this map. The traffic wasn't misbehaving before, but added the updated files just to be safe. Though I encourage ya'll to test the Delorean to make sure it works as I can only do LAN based tests due to my router blocking me from connecting via internet to the BF1942 server in my virtual machine.
To other users who haven't tried the map yet, just download those updated archives. Be sure to read the readme text file as the install process for the client files is slightly different from the initial release. READ the readme.txt file included with the RAR file and double make sure you extracted it to the right location. There's a couple BIKs for the animated lightmaps so the RFA isn't the only thing you need to install.
EDIT: The patch rfa is probably not in sync with the changed I made. I pulled it off the file host. If you downloaded it, don't use it. You'll need to download the whole map to make sure it's updated properly.
