Last Month the Japanese try to retrive this mod a little bit more. They played in the at 2pm CET. At the moment the gametracker, com Server Monitorring is off. Hope soon they turn it on. The ranking seems to work.
So I am currently looking after the BF1982.COM domain. DavidB has transferred it over to me to help keep it alive/registered and get at the very least a decent tribute website to the mod up there. This will include a link to the forums here and maybe a forum on the site too.
For now I want to get a holding page up with an awesome screenshot of the game..
The challenge is to go through the is82.com gallery and find the BEST images that could be used for the homepage
please post your ideas here.
Bf1982 is still the first domain that pops up when you google interstate 82 mod and it's the domain listed in the mod when you run the game.
It should serve to help bring any players of the mod together at both this website and at bf1982.com
really happy this is in our hands to bring it back to life. Any thoughts welcome on how we should best use it. I want to not only list the developers of the mod but list all the custom map names and their creators to be set in stone forever and remind generations in years to come what a shit hot mod this was.
That would be a good idea imo. If someone were to continue on is82 1.9, that would be a good place for a dev forum and for a public forum with suggestions, mod updates, recruitment, etc
It would be great to add some more history on the mod to the page. There is a bit of info here which Cochrane managed to build up. Does anyone want to try and structure it all into a something more readable? That would be pretty aweseome
