Ah yes, Mac. I'm one of THOSE people.
I just got a lovely automated email for my birthday which inspired me to try and re-download the IS82 mod for Battlefield 1942. Problem is, all mod files seem to be .exe, the sworn enemy of Mac file formats.
Is there some blatantly obvious link to a Mac-friendly files (maybe just of the mod unpacked for manual installation) I'm missing? There must be one, I've played IS82 before...halp plz?

You could use Wine, or crossover for "installing" the mod, or you could wait until Innovations wakes up. He will .rar up the mod for you Crossover trial at www.codeweavers.com

Cheers Twisted Metal! Mod works perfectly. Can't say the same for the entire BF1942 game though, through all the mods this sorta thing has been happening:
Don't suppose this is some regular problem with an easy solution? When I get another few spare hours I'll reinstall the game, which I'd presume would fix it anyway.

Oooh shit. That looks like a graphics card overheating, but if you are lucky it is not. What machine are you running on? Looks just like my old nVidia did when the cooler died.

Does this ONLY happen to the players head? Damn that could be a corupt standardmesh file.
Edit, nope. Tested this exact same install myself. Sorry man, but this is a hardware issue One last thing, try regular bf and watch for these glitches there.
